vino veritas
“As an Italian I grew up with wine. As a winemaker I want to make wine that I like to drink. My philosophy is if you like it, drink it - if you don’t, you can always use it for cooking.”
— Davide Trezzi
Welcome to Our Winery
In 2005 we transformed a former pear orchard into a vineyard. We started with zero experience, and as we went along we learned about essentials like rootstocks, planting, trellising and pruning. Each season and vintage that followed challenged us to keep learning. For people who are used to making things happen in an organized way, allowing nature to take control has been a profound lesson in patience and adaptability — one worthy of lengthy exploration over a glass of wine.
Making Wine the Old Fashioned Way
small batch, low intervention wines produced and bottled on our Green Bluff farm
Traditional winemaking emphasizes simplicity. This method involves minimal equipment and relies on traditional techniques such as harvesting grapes by hand, hands on crushing, initiate fermentation using wild yeasts, and allowing the mixture to ferment naturally over time. Think old world. We’re happily small and unknown compared to the big and famous wineries a bit south and that suits us just fine. We live here, and work here, and over the years have managed to fashion our dream into a wondrous life on Green Bluff.

In 2009 we converted our tractor barn into our tasting room after our first grape harvest. The building features a roll-up glass garage door with panoramic views of the vineyards and mountains. There is a courtyard with fountain - perfect for enjoying a glass of wine.
